Wanted to share a few of my favorites that are a part of the Young Living Black Friday Sale that’s happening this week!
This time of year is the BIGGEST sale of the year that they have (this year there are products up to 65% off). There’s a ton of different products, so it can be overwhelming to try and figure out the best things to snag and stock up on – so I thought I’d break down just a few of my favorites!
So here’s the simple list of my personal, used almost daily favorites:
Legit I would say these are like, non negotiables (I have a few others, like DiGize and Tummygize I would add, but those aren’t in the sale this year). So here’s my legit daily faves that ARE on sale!
- Thieves (absolute ESSENTIAL for immune support/winter wellness)
- Purification (fave for natural bug spray and helping dispel diaper/stinky smells)
- Frankincense (Normally $$$ but legit the BEST skin oil)
- Copaiba (your teething babies best friend)
- Peace & Calming (legit as it sounds – most peaceful, calming smell ever)
- Lavender (legit amazing for everything from skin to sleep to calming to first aid, etc.)
A few other sale faves we use often:
- Joy (personal perfume and really uplifting)
- Ylang Ylang (date night perfume and great “get in the mood” oil)
- Geranium (your first aid BFF, just trust me. Any kinda cuts/bleeds, this is amazing)
- Tea Tree (another first aid/sore/any skin issue BFF)
- Cedarwood (INCREDIBLE for sleep support)
- Lemon (cleaning BFF, also uplifting)
- Vanilla (your cozy bestie)
- Peppermint (great for headache support, energizing, and refreshing)
Now, maybe you’re wondering… How do I use these oils?
So there’s three different main ways that I use them:
#1: Diffuse!
This is the easiest way to use anything! I remember when I started using oils I thought diffusing was a “waste” because while I liked the smell, oils were too expensive just for “good smells.” But then I learned that actually smelling the diffused oils DOES get absorbed into our bodies (through something called the olfactory system – see screenshot below) and it’s SUPER beneficial for our bodies!!! Sometimes it’s even more beneficial than directly applying to the skin (in the case of emotional oils). Cool, right?!
#2: Diluted Rollers
I use this mostly whenever I use oils on the kiddos, just because their skin is super sensitive and so you want to dilute the oils. Honestly, I don’t stress about this too much, but in general use less and then you can always add more. Here’s a chart I found on pinterest that can help!
#3: Topically
So several of the above oils I love to use in my daily skin serums! I’ll also add them to other homemade products like my homemade deodorant.
There’s several oils that I will personally apply without diluting, but this is only because I’ve been using oils for a long time and know which ones I feel comfortable with.
