The other night, I was getting out of the shower and I saw the above sign that is hanging in our bathroom. This was something that was randomly gifted to us when Daniel and I first got married (nearly six years ago!) and I have always loved it.
If you didn’t know, Daniel and I are SUPER cheesy! We love being a little over-the-top-adorable sometimes, because that just kind of comes natural to me. So saying something like, “You’re the cheese to my macaroni” is right up our alley!
So like I said… I saw the sign the other night, and I thought to myself, “It would be fun to letter all of these phrases. Ohh, what if I created a little lettering challenge where I could invite people to letter a phrase everyday leading up to Valentine’s Day?” And that’s what I did!
The plan is every morning the share a prompt (or the phrase for that day) on my Instagram Story and give a little behind the scenes peak of what I’m working on. I’d love for you to join me!

Day One: “You are the cheese to my macaroni”
Day Two: “You are the horizon to my sky”
Day Three: “You are the bacon to my eggs”
Day Four: “You are the laces to my sneakers”
Day Five: “You are the jelly to my peanut butter”
Day Six: “You are the smile to my face”
Day Seven: “You are the gravy to my mashed potatoes”
Day Eight: “You are the bubbles to my bath”
Day Nine: “You are the milk to my cookie”
Day Ten: “You are the ink to my pen”
Day Eleven: “You are the ketchup to my french fries”
Day Twelve: “You are the water to my ocean”
Day Thirteen: “You are the icing on my cupcake”
