Hello friends!
Today’s DIY we’re going to make some scruuuuumptious (or “scrummy” as they say in the British Bake Show) body butter!
This recipe hails from the Young Living blog, and I thought it was a perfect one to try and recreate as part of our 12 Days of DIY. (side note: the YL blog is a GREAT place to search for other DIY’s and learn more about EO’s).
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 cup organic coconut oil (link)
- 1 cup organic solid cocoa butter (link)
- 15 drops of your essential oils
- Glass container
Directions:
- Add the coconut oil and cocoa butter to a skillet over medium heat. Melt until their both completely liquefied (about 5 mins).
- Pour into a glass mixing bowl and place in the fridge for about 30 mins.
- Add in your essential oils!
- Using an electric hand mixer to whip until peaks form (usually 10 mins).
- Gently transfer to a glass jar. Store at room temperature.
- Use/massage on dry skin!
Hope you enjoy!
