If we’ve met before, there’s a really good chance I was wearing red lipstick.
It’s kind of my signature, ya know?
I’ve been wearing this color since before my wedding day! In fact, it’s the exactly color I actually wore on my wedding day (see above)… it made it through our first kiss as husband and wife, a full dinner, a night of dancing, the whole shebang.

This lip-stain is available at any Sephora – and what I love about Sephora (I used to work there, so I can gush) is that you get to try things on before you buy! I can’t tell you how frustrating it is buying a shade of lipstick at Target, bringing it home, and it’s too orange for my complexion. I remember when I worked at Sephora, it was right before we got married, and legit think I tried on every shade of red by every brand, until I found the perfect one.
Then one day, I found “always red” in the Sephora lip-stain collection, and as they say, the rest is history.

I forgot to mention earlier (and you call tell this in the video) but this lip-stain goes on like a gloss, which makes the application super easy. Plus it dries matte – and any/every time I wear this lipstick, I get compliments left and right. It’s just one of those things that makes you feel instantly fabulous, even on a bad day (or when I was in school, I’d wear this on finals… because it just gave me that extra boost that I could remember everything I studied for this ridiculous biology class). haha.
Once again, the shade I wear and love is called “Always Red (01)” by the Sephora Collection. But they have tons of red, and tons of shades – and like I mentioned earlier, you can try stuff on in the store to make sure you find the shade that’s right for you. But IMHO, this shade is the perfect red and great on any skin color! With it being not too pink/not too purple/not too orange, I think it looks great on everyone.
